I cannot say enough about this program, this school, these teachers, this group of amazing people that are here to help our kids!
My son was enrolled in regular school and struggling. Bringing home D's and F's, depressed, angry, sullen, moody and just plain miserable. Last year (2008-2009) it was suggested by his councelor that he apply to the SEARCH program. I was at my wits end on how to help him, so we applied.
Thank our lucky stars they accepted us.

After 130 years, officially the former administration of SJC annouced that the college had "suspended operations" - in reality its gone forever.
My grandchildren go to big lake elementary and it is a wonderful school, I've had grandchildren who have went all the way from kinergarden to 5th grades there.KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK and Thank you.
I wanted to express my thoughts on a small school in Homer,Alaska.I took my daughter to enroll and was worried she would not fit in because it was a small town.I was blown away with the lady in the front office she put the Anchorage people to shame and was super happy when I was greeted with a bright smile by Brennas teacher Mrs.Eller.I will never second guess a small town you never know they may be the nicest people you will come across.Tina Brady
