Pendleton Mary Fay Elem. - Oceanside - Submitted by: Madison Im a: Former Student Date: 04/10/2008
I loved this school. When I moved, I was devastated---I would miss not only my friends, but my teachers and the principal, who is very good at doing her job. Even now, 3 years after I left, I mourn for my years at the school, and I still hold it dearly to my heart. It truly supported the Marine Corps and the Marines' children, and I greatly appreciate everything they've done for both my family and myself. I could have never asked for a better school with better opportunites.
Berenda Elementary - Madera - Submitted by: Tanya Im a: Parent Date: 17/09/2008
I think I've had a hand in each of the aspects Berenda has to offer. I feel that all staff was not only willing to go out there way to help, but their hand was VERY helpfull. The staff was friendly and profesional on a down to earth level. A great bunch of people. I have encouncountered a situatioin with transportation at one point, and the staff was quick to fix all situations. Afterschool programs included a snack, homework time, and excercise for the kids. Our family loves it.
Soka University Of America - Aliso Viejo - Submitted by: Kim Im a: Student Date: 09/09/2008
I'm a Sophomore here and I have learned a lot about academics but also about myself during my past year here. The entire atmosphere here is designed around the needs and desires of the students. Everything is easily accessible (including handicap accessible) physically and otherwise. If students want to change something, there is always a means to be able to do that here, and if not, then they can make a means. Every faculty and staff member is willing to help the student reach their goals or...
Soka University Of America - Aliso Viejo - Submitted by: Takako Im a: Student Date: 09/09/2008
I have been a student at Soka University of America for almost one year. I am currently a sophomore studying liberal arts. I came to Soka University with minimal expectations, as I had only heard it was a new univeristy. I assumed that the curriculum would be underdeveloped and the students of limited diversity. However, upon my arrival from Australia, I realized that I was prejudgmental. Firstly, the student body was very diverse. The campus was amazingly beautiful and the people were...
Lodi Middle - Lodi - Submitted by: amy vieira Im a: Student Date: 04/09/2008
This is a great school. I am currently a 8th grade student and my 7th grade year was awsome. The teachers were great they would have study hall if needed. I would rate it 10/10. My 8th grade year has been so far so good. 8th grade teachers are also great. But prsonally 7th grade teachers are a little better because they encourage you to get stuff done so i would overall give the school 10/10! Love Amy Vieira
