I must say that the teachers at G.W. Carver High School inspired me to become an educator. I am presently working on my doctoral degree in education and look forward to re-entering the home of the Panthers in another view (administrator). My friend, Jerry, and I walked into the library to pre-order yearbooks for my two nieces and me. The librarian knew my name. She repeated it with a smile. On another occasion, I was there to pay the balance of my nephew's lunch. The head cafeteria lady gave my friend and I hot fresh baked chocolate chip cookies better than our mamas'.
