I have been subbing in all the Waukee Schools. I am a newly retired teacher from southern Illinois. I can't say enough positive things about the Waukee School District. The teachers at Waukee Elementary are warm and welcoming. The secretary is very friendly and efficient. All the classrooms are in great condition. Teacher plans are excellent. The needs of a diverse population of students are being met. The teachers are constantly working on Staff Development which can only improve the school and create team efforts among the staff.
