Upon my first visit I was very impressed with how small the classes were and the faculty and staff were very friendly and encouraging. Ascension College has the Gonzales Police Department provide security during both day and night classes. The teachers were very informative and did their best to make sure that everyone understood the material no matter how...
J.D. Meisler Middle School - Metairie - Submitted by: Jenny Im a: Student Date: 29/06/2008
I went to JD Meisler after Hurricane Katrina because it was closer to my new home. I was there for seventh grade and I immediately loved it. It was lined with trees and shade, and it was absolutely picture-perfect. I can say the same for the school itself. The honors classes usually have about ten people, but the normal classes have thirty or more. I also made a lot of friends. I am a high school sophomore living in Philadelphia now, but I still have great memories about Meisler.
