My family rates Walnut Hill Elementary/Middle School as a FIVE STAR institution of learning. Straight A's for the fabulous environment for our children. Most of the credit belongs to the super-excellent principal, Albert Hardison. He is absolutely the best, and models the example of what he expects from the students and staff. He has created a learning environment where nothing but excellence is acceptable, where being the best and doing the best is not only a way of life, but is celebrated and rewarded.
My children graduated from Walnut Hill in the late '80's, and now 4 of my grandchildren are blessed with the good fortune of being able to attend there. Every time we visit the school, it's like going back in time to a much better, simpler, safer, more nurturing time in our nation's history. It's where integrity gets instilled. It's like schools were when I was growing up.
Sincere thanks to Mr. Hardison and the entire staff for providing the caring, safe, motivational, learning-enhanced atmosphere for the children, and for teaching them not only their school lessons, but lessons about the kind of adult citizens they need to be and how they should conduct themselves throughout their lives. We appreciate you so very much. I can never say that enough.
