Our children are the most precious gifts that god has given each of us. At home we the parents has the responcibility of caring for and safe-keeping our darlings. At school (where our children spends most of the day) it's the faculty staff that cares for and safe keep them. At Timbergrove, the facaulty is very strict about our children's safety, hence the reason why you see staff members including the Principal and Assistant Principals, Special teachers and Guidance Councellor greeting the children and parents at different areas on the school property each morning before the bell rings and in the afternoon, they head off to school fronts at different points, then the dismissal bell is rang. The crossing guards does a great job of keeping our children from getting run over by agressive drivers along Academy Road and all other side streets, within the schools visinity. You must ring the door bell to be let in, while school is in progress, to conduct any business at the school. Better set up an appointment with the nice ladies at the office, or your child's teacher, first. You must also sign the visitors book, which is located inside the office and wear a "Badge" with your name written on it. Now.......as parents, we too have a very grate safety responcibility while dropping off and picking up our children. Their are designated areas, where you CANNOT leave your vehicles. You will see many signs through out the school property, that says "Pick-up /drop-off zone", "No Parking", "Fire Exit" etc., etc.. Please pay attention to our signs, crossing guards and all those who represent our school and our children. Please obey our school safety regulations and keep our precious gifts from God safe. While on Academy Avenue,....Please drive 25! (miles per hour).
