I attended what was the former 16 Acres School. All three of our children were students at the now Mary M. Walsh School. The school was renamed for Mary M. Walsh upon her retirement. She served as principal for 27 years. It was only fitting to rename the school in her name to pay tribute to a person who knew every child, their parents and what their occupations where. I have been a member of the community since my children began going to school. For being affiliated with the local civilian town school, I don't understand why our school is in such poor condition. Not only do we have to take donations from other schools for our meals, but our class rooms have broken ceilings that don’t seem to be a concern to them. Along with this, every summer our children are sitting in an rooms without air-conditioning that makes it challenging to dress them...

So far so good! In fact I am really enjoying the M.Ed. Tech. in Ed. online program. The support staff have really gone out of their way to be helpful and make sure I get in to the courses I want. I plan on finishing up my degree next summer and pursuing further graduate studies.
