I have a concern about an incident with my grandson in class on February 28, 2008. The teacher was using racial slange in teaching 3rd grade students. Using the old text term of "white mans disease" instead of a politcally correct phrase. Evidently this subjected the minds of the young children to notice the difference between them in a different manner. I realized that this is a history slange but that is why it is history, in this segragated age of having all nationalities would it not be more proper in leaving old text terms behind and using in the present the correctly used political terms to teach the young minds of children to make them less aware of the differences between them to spark such future incidents.
