I believe that The Carroll Hill Cougars have something to be proud of. They are a great bunch of staff from the janitor to the principal The only thing i would change is.... oh yeah nothing just add mor after school keeps our children involved and you keep them off the streets.
Alfred E. Smith High School - Bronx - Submitted by: vaselej Im a: Former Student Date: 01/09/2008
When I went to Smith it was an all boys school. The teachers were great, they really helped me with my classes. I was an automotive student. Today I realize, and appreciate all they have done for me. They helped me achieve the knowledge I use today. Ms. Lippe was a library teacher that I will never forget. She showed me that if you put your mind and heart to a task, you can achieve anything. I felt at that time, that I was just an immagrant from a communist country who's parents were forcing...
Pearls Hawthorne Elementary School - Yonkers - Submitted by: g Im a: Parent Date: 20/08/2008
My child has attended PEARLS since Pre-k and is now entering 2nd grade. Overall I am happy with the type of work given to my child and the expectations set; her teachers have been wonderful. She is encouraged to do her best and reading is expected daily. Comparing with other schools she seems to have been busy with projects and homework but a fair amount is given. There is a diverse population in the school which is important. The school needs improvements with maintanence (bathrooms have...
Sidney High School - Sidney - Submitted by: Samantha Im a: Student Date: 18/08/2008
I currently attend Sidney High School and I do believe that I am getting a good education there. The only problem is that my school is located in a very small town and the other students and I have very little dealings with diversity. We have more sports than most schools can boast, but we also have very little other after-school activities for those that wish not to do sports. The teachers are great, people that we can really talk to most of the time, and they’ll try to listen to us....
Harry L. Edson Elementary School - Kingston - Submitted by: Jennifer Im a: Parent Date: 13/08/2008
Overall I have been extremely happy with my son's experience at Edson. The teachers thus far have been great, and the education he has received is wonderful. It has a nice comfortable feel, and the staff really takes the time to get to know you.
