Glenn Marlow is a great school with supportive, hard working staff. They care about the kids and the qulaity of education. Mrs. King, the Principle and Principle of the Year, is "one of a kind" in regards to her leadership skills, open, honest communication style and sincere interest in seeing that all the students receive a solid, strong education.
This WAS once a good school. I have had children there for several years and have had major problems the last couple of years. The schools principal is very hostile and does seem to run the school like a prison or bootcamp. It does not have that nice nurturing feel that it used to have when you walk in. Do not expect to get any help if you do have an issue because the parent is always wrong. Not sure why this woman is still there as I know there have been several complaints against her.
My Name is Simone, and I am a former student of Hallsboro Artesia, or you could say that I am an Artesia Alumni:) Anyway, I just wanted to state that in my time at that school I have come to notice that you have a great discipline method, and I really loved going to your school!!!
I have a concern with the office staff in this school. I feel that if you are a employee in a school you should be very friendly and helpful. The office staff are so rude they never smile or welcome you. They seem to hate that you are bothering them. I have talked with other parents and it seems that quiet a few parents feel the same way! Something need s to be done about it but no one seems to care enough!
Blackburn is a wonderfull school. Small class sizes, great teachers, and expects the best out of the students.
