Huber Ridge Elementary School is a neighborhood school in a day and age when they are quickly becoming extinct.
With about 500 students, in grades K - 5, the school has about a 1 to 18 Student-Teacher ratio. Team teaching is practiced and the students get a chance to interact with a number of teachers in their assigned grade level.

As Class Valedictorian of the BHS of 1979, I am proud to have undertaken the curriculum @ Brunswick High School @ that time and, still living in Brunswick, am still very proud of the fact that the school system is still ranked extremely high in the state. What can I say? There is no better school around than Van Buren Elementary in my book. I grew up in Hamilton and I attended Van Buren from the second grade through the sixth grade. On of my favorite memories I have and often think about is when I used to stay after school and play in the gym. We would jump on the trampoline, tumble on the mats and just be ourselves.
