I have to say as a former 5th grade student that Upson Elementary School is not one of the best schools to go to. I say this because when I was there last year, there were so many fights, lunch aids (this would be considered as Support Staff) were just out of control like this one lunch lady . Oh my gosh she cursed at my class, hit a few students, and she was just terrible! Of course my clas and I did the right thing. we got her fired. But other than that, the teachers were nice and/or mean at certain times. One of the special education teachers smoked, yelled at students so loud that you could hear it maybe 3 or 4 classrooms down. I have to say that school was not the best for me at all.
