The environment is positive and well-monitored. Respect is highly valued and enforced.

We do not live within Oquirrh Elementary boundaries, but I am willing to take the 10 minute trip to this school because of the awsome staff. The school security is great! The whole staff is practically outside before and after school and are strict with the parents on how they drive in and out. I think that is great. The principal and teachers care about the children's safety and well being. Grade teams work together to ensure quality teaching plans. Special Ed staff are devoted to working together to maximize each child's learning experience. I have been very pleased with my children's years at La Verkin Elementary.
