My daughter is in the first grade this year. She truly enjoyed most of her teachers from the Kindergarten . Her reading and writing skill are very good for a six years old. She enjoys working on the computer and learning the key-board. She is trying to type in sentences. Thank You Mack Benn for the skills she has mastered. The Africian dance that was taught to her stayed with her througth out the entire summer. However, sometimes the younger teachers should not expect the Kindregarten to behave like a fourth or fifth grader. My child appeared to have a great deal of criticism for things I felt children of her age normally behave. My child's behavior changed and she felt she was being single out for negative things. Younger teacher remember they are only five and six years old.
