I am not happy with RoseValley school. I feel that they sweep things under a rug instead of handling problems brought out by parents. I have had issues with aids crossing the line with my child openly yelling at him telling him he is a naughty boy and many other problems. I have even witnessed these things myself. I have complained to the principle and to no avail. I finally go and tell the aid who has now crossed the line with my child all year to please not grab him and not yell at him...
I was enrolled @ New Market from 1987-1989 & successfully completed Early Childhood Education program. I highly recommend New Market & ALL they have to offer. It was a wonderful experience for me.
SHS is a pretty good institution. Wide array of AP courses offered and a generally committed and caring group of teachers.
I'd back up the comment about Dan Thomas. This a personal assessment, but he likes to offer himself as the standard of fairness and knowledge in discussion but breaks the rules of writing a strong argument through composition constantly in group discussions in his AP courses.
He pulls out "facts" quicker than anyone you'll meet and as a student, its usually stuff you...
I go to Tonasket Middle school, and I am quite happy there. My favorite subject is by far Language; some day I hope to be a journalist. While I think that our teachers could be a bit more helpful-especially the math teachers- it is not hard to really understand what is going on. The education is good; however, my peers seem to want to share their feelings with me, and not our school councilors and principles. I can certainly be trusted, however it does worry me that they can our councilors...
My school library is a fantastic library because the libraryans are very good at their job and when I cant find a book they either hep me find it or they know its checked out and I think they are one of the best libraryans in the world.
