Being overweight or obese affects your emotions
Obesity is the second leading cause of death of adults
1 out of 3 kids end up with diabetes
Kids who are in shape do not eat as much

Over the years America has become the most overweight country in the world. The times have changed, people used to run around and eat home-cooked meals every night. Now People drive most places and just grab something quick for dinner without thinking about if it is a healthy choice or not. This has affected America in more ways than most people think. For many it is part of their regular diet, they go there every day at least once and sometimes more than that. Much of America I beginning to realize the dieting problems that the country is having but still continue to eat the same way they have. The only difference is that now they might drink some kind of diet shake while they eat their fast food. They also might go to the gym to work out and then stop at a fast food place on the way home. They feel that they are able to get some McDonald's because they think they have "earned" it. What they don't realize is that by stopping there to get something to eat, they have basically wiped out their workout that they had just finished. Many think they are staying in shape and eating healthy because after working out they will stop at Burger King, but they will only get a salad to eat instead of the big hamburgers with the fries and soda. Many of the salads have close to or just as much fat and sugars as the hamburgers on the menu do. That is why a lot of America will continue to stay overweight and continue to become less
