The decision I made when I was in my twenties are now affecting my lifestyle in my thirties. Back then the only thing I was forcing on was having fun and my career. Most would say there nothing wrong with that, but little did they know in my twenties my health wasn’t the best. I was told in my twenties that I had tumors in my uterus and if they wasn’t bothering me don’t bother them. I knew then I should have done something about them or at least get a 2nd opinion, but I didn’t. Not doing anything about them in my twenties caused me to have 4 major surgeries in my thirties. Not at a 100%, but very close. Now not only do I pay attention to other around me, I also may attention to my health. So at least when I get into my forties I will be healthier. Thanks Farriel, Your post was educational. I took a moment to check out the American Psychological Association (APA) website. This site provides a lot of useful information. For instance, I had no idea that Psychologist has their own set of ethics codes that’s design to meet their needs. According to American Psychological Association (2012), these codes are there to aid their activities in "clinical, counseling and school practice of psychology; research; teaching; supervision of trainees,” (Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct.) just to name a few. I also found it interesting to know that there are strict guidelines for current or pass clients and
