I remember when I first came back we were tasked out to clean some barracks that we were about to hand over to a national guard unit that was passing through and our CO at the time told us how the rooms and buildings should be cleaned and the way that we were told to do it made everything more complicated and take more time then was needed to do it and even the platoon sargent agreed with this but we executed the order like our CO told us to do.
There are many reasons why a soldier should follow the orders they are given and every single one is important. In this essay I have written about the three main reasons why it is important for a soldier to follow the orders they are given is to be combat effective, disciplined, and to just be a good soldier. The reason why I picked these three reasons are because I believe them to be the most important reasons for following orders. Only the soldier who doesn't follow the orders they are given it is that soldiers fault for not doing their job as a soldier correctly and living to the army vaults because every soldier know that you never disobey an
