(Finkelman 2013) I believe that is the society as a whole would participate in staying healthy on a day to day effort that the Healthy People 2020 would be a reality. By using the MAP-IT approach (Mobilize, Assess, Plan, Implement, Track) By using this system it will add a component to the current method that will track the success rate and allow for improvements along the way. Through the continuum of care by matching individuals with the ongoing medical needs we would be able to keep them in the best possible health. By meeting individuals at the point of need, they can be followed from conception through death.
2. Disease Prevention: This idea really encompasses a wide variety of concepts in the prevention of most disease processes. By teaching healthy diet habits before the person served becomes obese it will alter the effects of the family and how they view overall eating habits. Most of the effects of poor health can be attributed to some kind of poor health decision. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines health as “a state of complete well-being, physical, social, and mental and not the merely the absence of disease or infirmity” (WHO, 2006) When we employ our primary care doctors along with taking good care of our own bodies we will be able to control our destiny of health.
B. Least Interesting
1. Apply Quality Improvement: This is an area that I do not know much about and at this time wonder how
