Slip Casting Casting is a manufacturing process by which a liquid material is usually poured into a mold, which contains a hollow cavity of the desired shape, and then allowed to solidify. The solidified part is also known as a casting, which is ejected or broken out of the mold to complete the process.
Cleaning The cast or greenware is cleaned by using sponge and some water to remove any imperfections in the casting joints. The cleaned greenware is then air-dried overnight.
Bisque Firing The decorated wares are carefully stacked in the shuttle kiln car and are pushed slowly inside a brick lined kiln. The stacked wares are then bisque-fired in the LPG fired kiln to temperature of 1200 degrees Celsius. The volatiles are removed during the firing of the stacked wares.
Quality Control Quality Control is used in developing systems to ensure products or services are designed and produced to meet or exceed customer requirements.
Packaging
The items are taken directly from the kiln, inspected and packed according to buyers’ specification into brown export cartons for shipment to the buyer. Those items which did not pass the quality inspections are sold to the local market as
