To understand more and better about the organization, I visited the organization’s website to get the annual reports, financial results, share information and corporate organization and structure. These data are all useful for the financial and business analysis. During the process of gathering information, I went to library and read newspaper, other reference books, commentary statement of directors and analysis of some authors in websites. I also had discussions with my mentor Mr. Lee on the competitor for benchmarking and the area I should focus on.

In this report I covered the financial analysis by doing ratio analysis, financial position reflecting operating performance and industry comparisons for benchmarking. On the other side, I used SWOT analysis and PESTEL for analyzing business performance. By doing these, I gained in depth understanding of the organization from different aspects and research questions, although I admitted that some critical information and data were not available due to the confidentiality issues

Due to constraint in time and limitation of words, I cannot cover all business aspects that affect the success of a business e.g. social responsibility, corporate government and environmental responsibility. If it is possible, I could have prepared a balance scorecard that could improve the width and depth of my RAP.
