Education is constantly changing with the aim of improving curricular and programs offered to students. If one education system had achieved perfection, all others would have followed, so it can be assumed that each system has its merits as well as its flaws, and each system can be improved by evaluating its own imperfections and those of others.
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
This study aims to determine the “STUDYING DIFFERENT FACTORS AFFECTING ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE OF THIRD YEAR BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN HOTEL AND RESTAURANT MANAGEMENT STUDENTS OF NATIONAL COLLEGE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY DUE TO SELECTED ACTIVITIES”. Specifically, seeks to answer following questions;
1. What is the profile of the respondents in terms of: 2.1 Age 2.2 Gender 2.3 Financial Support 2. What are the reasons why they joined extra-curricular activities? 3. What would be the impact of joining in extra-curricular activities to the academic performance?
OBJECTIVES:
1. To study the different factors affecting academic performance of Third Year Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management students of National College of Science and Technology due to selected activities. 2. To avoid the students from bad habits like fraternity, online games and drug addiction. 3. To discover how an Third Year Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management students of National College of Science and Technology
