Unfortunately every child has the possibility to be hurt, put at risk of harm or abused. Safeguarding is our way to ensure that all children are allowed to grow up in a safe environment, protect them from ill treatment, harm and any factors that may impact on their safety and wellbeing.

Physical signs of safeguarding issues can be; noticing a child to be frequently dirty, smelly or inadequately dressed, they may turn up wearing the same clothes many days in a row or arrive with a very soiled nappy or underwear, requests to parents or carers for larger shoes or clothes may be ignored.
