Obesity In America

Obesity can be an issue for any age group in America, adults, adolescents and children. The obesity rate in the last 30 years has more than tripled. It is a critical issue to be addressed because the statistics show over the years; the amount of people suffering from this has only increased dramatically and will continue to do so if something isn’t being done about it. It’s not good for anyone to be overweight; it makes living harder and is also fatal. Being healthy and having a correct weight size will make you physically and emotionally happy and enable you to perform daily task without any problems and less health issues in your futures.

It’s always easier to gain the weight and harder to lose it. Takes a lot of heart and dedication to work out regularly and have a healthy diet to go along with it. Nutrition and Exercising works hand in hand. You need to have more energy OUT than IN in order to lose weight therefore dieting is of outmost importance. The latest studies show that by losing as little as 10 to 20 pounds you can dramatically improve your overall health status.

Once you’re obese it takes serious dedication to get to regular size. Never try to lose weight in an unhealthy way like anorexia or starving yourself that only brings even more fatal unhealthy problems in your future. Doctors recommend a low calorie diet consisting of 800 or less calories. The best way I would say is to start slow, start eating properly; three meals per day; Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner, no snacks in between and fruits regularly to ensure frequent bowel movements. The three meals you eat should consist of healthy foods, no high calorie carbs or sugar filled foods.

Keeping a healthy diet and a moderate exercise schedule with cutting back on fast food, late night snaking and only eating three small proportioned meals per day can keep you from becoming overweight. Being healthy and having a correct weight size will make you physically and emotionally happy and enable you to perform daily task without any problems and less health issues in your
