Accountability of Sensitive Items
It would also drop the mural of the unit because they would have to stop what they were doing to try to find it. If my unit and I were overseas in a combat zone and I lost my weapon then an enemy could have recovered it and used it against my unit, myself, and/or civilians. I could have been the one responsible for my units failed mission. I am fully aware of the mistake that I made by forgetting my weapon in the port-a-john and I am fully aware of the consequences that my mistake could have brought to my unit and myself.
Why is it important to be accountable for sensitive items? It is important to be accountable for sensitive items because if any of these items were to be lost or stolen then it can jeopardize operational security or compromise the mission at hand and future ones. The whole unit should maintain accountability of all sensitive material and/or items to allow full utilization by themselves and anyone involved in the mission and still maintains operational security.
So in conclusion, I feel that you should always have accountability of your sensitive items because if any of the sensitive items that I have mentioned, or the many other sensitive items, are to fall into the wrong hands it could bring harm or death to yourself, your unit and civilians. It will cost valuable time and money to replace any items lost or stolen, or to look for the lost or stolen item/items. It is your duty to have
