Bite Size Frosted Shredded Wheat, I came to the conclusion that Kellogg’s was the best over all option. Cereal appearance and taste is also and important factor to me when selecting a box of cereal. On average a Kellogg’s brand cereal measured 1 in. long, 7/8 in. wide, and 3/8 in. deep. The cereal was a light khaki color and one side of the cereal was evenly coated with a thick layer of white powdered caramelized sugar. When eaten alone the cereal was crunchy and sweet, while I chewed into it I could hear the crunch and taste the sweetness. When combined with milk the cereal maintained the crunchiness for about five minutes before it started to disintegrate into sweet oatmeal like substance. On the contrary the Stater Brother’s bite size version had an average cereal measurement of 1 in. long, 6/8 in. wide, and 2/8 in. deep. The cereal was a light khaki color and one side of the cereal was unevenly coated with a small amount of white caramelized powdered sugar. When eaten alone the cereal was slightly sweet and crunchy and had a whole grain taste to it. When combined with milk the cereal retained its crunchiness five minutes longer than Kellogg’s did but it was not as sweet. After ten minutes in the bowl the cereal expanded and softened while still maintaining its shape.
In conclusion Kellogg’s Frosted Mini Wheat’s is the best choice when compared to Stater Brother’s store brand Bite Size
