The product management aspect of this case is showing its age: published in 2006, and set in 2002 - 3. Some of you will question their technology choices. Do your best to focus on the PM aspects, assuming that their technology choices were appropriate for a conservative company at that time.

MS Project resource-leveling heuristics do not create an optimal plan in this case. If your information is spot-on, MSP resource leveling will give a deployment date of 11/7. This is a logical solution (and perfectly acceptable for class). However, if you are really into this, you can also level resources manually (add the Leveling Delay column and input the data from Exhibit 9. You will find that the new deployment date is 11/4.
